This vent is not rated for dryer ventilation, the screen will trap lint and could create a fire risk. Quality constructed from heavy duty 0.02 inch mill-finish aluminum. The FAMCO SDWVA wall vent includes a ¼ inch insect screen to prevent duct intrusion by birds and many kinds of insects, as well as a built-in hinged backdraft damper.
